There was no card to design around — the gift was a year-long theatre pass for an actress, and nothing physical existed to hand her. So we built the whole object from a blank page: concept, layout, even a logo for a card that had never existed before.
Everything on it is her: her favourite colour as the palette, and a small Bambi on the back — the kind of detail that means something only to her, not to anyone else looking at it.
The result reads less like a greeting card and more like a small piece of merch for a theatre that doesn't actually sell any — made for one person, once.
